Ultrasound Imaging Provides Non-Invasive Diagnostic Screens
The Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion at St. Joseph’s/Candler uses ultrasound, a non-invasive sound wave procedure, to provide high-resolution images of abdominal structures, pregnancies, veins, arteries and extremities.
Ultrasound screens are painless, non-invasive, and do not expose the patient to residual ionizing radiation.
St. Joseph's ultrasound has ICVAL vascular accreditation.
