Meet Kathy Levitt
An active philanthropist, there's not many organizations that Kathy Levitt hasn't had some involvement in. That includes our very own SmartWomen, of which Kathy has been a part of since its inception and part of the inspiration that brought SmartWomen to fruition. She has served as a member or volunteer for numerous committees and events in Chatham County, including the Telfair Museum, Georgia Historical Society and Savannah Chatham Heart Association, which she is a past president. Kathy was a coronary nurse for many years. She also is a benefactor of the arts and says her community service is inspired by her mother and the example set by Mary Telfair. Make a donation in Kathy's honor
We hope you are as inspired by Kathy Levitt as we are and would consider making a donation to the Telfair Mammography Fund in her honor. The goal of the Mary Telfair Women's Hospital and the Mammography Fund is to ensure that all women have access to mammography, even if they have no insurance and cannot afford it. The SmartWomen Luncheon & Expo has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Telfair Mammography Fund to meet this goal since its inception over a decade ago.
