Both Dr. Nelson and Dr. Nath are trained in diagnostic thyroid ultrasounds and thyroid fine needle aspirations that will be offered at this practice if indicated. Dr. Nelson's special interests include the management of adrenal and pituitary disorders. Dr. Nath’s special interests are in thyroid cancer and the use of diabetes technology in optimizing diabetes care.
About Dr. Nelson
Dr. Carolyn Nelson received her undergraduate degree and medical degree from Louisiana State University. She completed her residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, prior to completing her fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism in Dallas, Texas.
About Dr. Nath
Dr. Priti Nath earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Emory University in Atlanta. She then earned her Doctorate of Medicine from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md. Dr. Nath did her internship/residency in internal medicine at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Virginia, followed by her fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes & metabolism at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Dr. Nath is a member of The Endocrine Society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and is licensed to practice in Georgia.
