Internet/Email Part 1&2

Part 1
Students will learn to locate browser programs, launch and explore features of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge and use search engines to surf the Internet to gain understanding of the various uses of the Internet: email, research, etc. Students will log into a student email account, explore the application and compose and send a basic email and reply.
Part 2
This session will build off what students learned in Part 1 and cover topics on Browser Settings for security and privacy, reviewing search history, tracking and how to turn of pop ups and setting favorites and pinning tabs. The email portion will cover settings and privacy for email applications and explore managing email and creating folders, moving email messages and managing email contacts or creating an email group.
