Cancer Care Continues at the LCRP with Monthly Support Group Meeting
A cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming for you and your family. At the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion, we not only treat the physical aspects of the disease but we also care about your emotional well-being. It is often helpful to talk about battling cancer with others who are going through a similar experience or with cancer survivors who can offer hope and encouragement.
We offer several opportunities so you can find the support you need:
Cancer Support Group
Meets: Fourth Tuesday of each month from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. (Starting Aug. 23)
Where: LCRP Conference Room (second floor)
Who: Cancer survivors (A cancer survivor is anyone from day of diagnosis to any point in their cancer journey, including after treatment is complete.)
Details: Join us monthly to simply share your experience and tips with each other. There will be rotating guest speakers as well to address questions and concerns. Masks will be required.
Questions: Registration is not required. If you have any questions, please call Sarah Copeland at 912-819-5167.
