The Residency Class of 2025
Candler Hospital PGY1 Class of 2025
Dr. Witney Butler is originally from Dacula, Georgia. She completed her pharmacy prerequisites at the University of North Georgia in Gainesville, GA before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in Athens, Georgia. Dr. Butler professional interests include emergency medicine, critical care, and ambulatory care. Upon completion of her PGY1 pharmacy residency, Dr. Butler would like to complete a PGY2 in one of her interests, with the ultimate goal of pursuing a career as a board-certified clinical pharmacist working in the emergency medicine or intensive care setting. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys teaching indoor cycling classes, going to the beach, and trying new restaurants/coffee shops.
Dr. Saralyn Hardin is originally from Brooklet, Georgia. She completed her pharmacy prerequisites at Georgia Southern University before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from South University School of Pharmacy in Savannah, Georgia. Dr. Hardin’s professional potential interests include emergency medicine and critical care. Upon completion of her PGY1 pharmacy residency, Dr. Hardin would like to pursue further training as apart of a PGY2 residency program. Outside of pharmacy she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time on the water.
Dr. Morgan Keller is originally from Longwood, Florida. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences at Florida State University before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy in Auburn, AL. Dr. Keller’s professional interests include emergency medicine, critical care, and academia. Upon completion of her PGY1 pharmacy residency, Dr. Keller would like to pursue a PGY2 pharmacy residency in one of her specialties of interest, with the ultimate goal of practicing as a board-certified clinical pharmacist. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, exercising, and going on walks with her dog, Judge.
Dr. Teya Klein is originally from Pensacola, FL. She completed her pharmacy prerequisites at Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, NC before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Midwestern University College of Pharmacy in Glendale, AZ. Dr. Klein’s professional interests include Oncology and neonatal care. Upon completion of her PGY1 pharmacy residency, Dr. Klein would like to pursue a PGY2 or a career as a board-certified clinical pharmacist working in an inpatient/ambulatory care oncology clinic or NICU/Pediatric care facility. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys play sports, working out, and anything that involves being outside.
Dr. Liam Richardson is originally from Marietta, Georgia. He is a proud Double Dawg earning a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and his Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the University of Georgia. Dr. Richardson’s professional interests include infectious disease and critical care. Upon completion of his PGY1 pharmacy residency, Dr. Richardson would like to pursue a PGY-2 pharmacy residency in one of his interest areas before working as clinical pharmacist in either infectious disease or critical care. Outside of pharmacy, he enjoys watching or attending anything UGA sports, spending time with his wife and two cats, or exploring Savannah with friends.
Dr. Mary Sizer is originally from Cincinnati, OH. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. Dr. Sizer's professional interests include ambulatory care. Upon completion of her PGY1 pharmacy residency, Dr. Sizer would like to pursue a PGY2 residency in ambulatory care. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys exploring Savannah, relaxing at the beach, working out, and trying local coffee shops/restaurants.

St. Joseph's/Candler PGY2 Critical Care
Dr. Shelby Wathen is originally from Owensboro, KY. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy in Birmingham, AL. Dr. Wathen’s professional interests include critical care, infectious disease, and nutrition. Upon completion of her PGY2 pharmacy residency, Dr. Wathen would like to pursue a career as a board-certified clinical pharmacist working in the intensive care setting. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys traveling, exercising, and reading.
St. Joseph's/Candler PGY2 Emergency Medicine
Dr. Payton Mueller is originally from Colgate, Wisconsin. She completed her undergraduate degree at Concordia University Wisconsin before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy in Mequon, Wisconsin. Dr. Mueller’s professional interests include emergency medicine and toxicology. Upon completion of her PGY2 pharmacy residency, Dr. Mueller would like to pursue a career as a board-certified clinical pharmacist working in emergency medicine. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys reading, watching baseball, and traveling.
St. Joseph's/Candler PGY2 Ambulatory Care
Dr. Kelsey Maynard is originally from Greenville, SC. She earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Financial Management from Clemson University in Clemson, SC before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy in Clinton, SC. Dr. Maynard is completing a PGY2 in ambulatory care and upon completion of her PGY2 pharmacy residency, Dr. Maynard would like to pursue a career as a board-certified clinical pharmacist working in a primary care and/or anticoagulation clinic. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys baking, reading, and traveling.
Dr. Lakedra White is originally from Thomasville, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Dr. White’s professional interests include diabetes management and improving healthcare access in rural, underserved populations. Upon completion of her PGY2 pharmacy residency, Dr. White would like to pursue a career in ambulatory care, with the ultimate goal of practicing as a board-certified ambulatory care pharmacist working in the primary care setting. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and volunteering within the community.
